Great meet-up. Missed it. But congratulations all attendees for these type great meet. @Anil6969
A Heartfelt Thank You @vksdreams !
I appreciate your kind words! You’re absolutely right; the true heroes of any meetup are the attendees, our amazing Google Local Guides. Without them, it’s just a solo meetup the celebration has got no meanings.
As Sharing and Learning Together in
Meetups are where we share and learn best practices, and I’m sorry you couldn’t join us this time. However We did share a virtual Google link in several major WhatsApp groups, but I understand how do you feel. A few friends missed it due to oversight, while others had genuine reasons.
For Celebrating Together
We chose Saturday evening, post-office hours, to #celebrate the 20th birthday of Google Map and 10th anniversaries of our community together. It wouldn’t have been complete without our near and dear ones. I tried my best to cover all major aspects so no one would miss out on the story.
Your Feedback Matters a lot to me ! Aside I also request @TravellerG @AjitThite bhau @TusharSuradkar bhau and @NareshDarji that personally tag him for important meet up so that next time you should not have regret of missing any meet up.
Your suggestions are always welcome! Next time, I’ll make sure to tag you for future meetups.
Thanks Again!
Thanks for visiting and reviewing this post.
Thanks and regards,
Anil6969

Well, though I understand your limitations, still I request you to kindly get approval from LG Connect before any meet-up; also, request you to kindly add a co-host so that you will be fully free at the site.
Regards, dear Anil…
Small correction. This Hexagon clock tower is only one in Asia.
The clock tower is a rare hexagonal structure with six Swiss clocks. It isn’t just another piece of colonial architecture; it’s a monument etched with the names of freedom fighters, a symbol of Dehradun’s role in India’s march to Independence.
इसकी Swiss घड़ी इतनी कीमती है कि उसको चोरी करने की तीन-चार बार कोशिश की गई है अभी कुछ दिन पहले भी एक चोर ने घड़ी चोरी करने की कोशिश की थी l

Hai @Anil6969 .
Sorry for late visiting your post.
You have a genuine idea make Dehdarun Clock Tower as a hybrid meet up point to celebrate 20 years of Google Maps and 10 years Local Guides Connect.
Thumb up for you.
Please do me a favour to give us more details about monument with three icons on top that consist of Lotus Flower, Peacock and Tiger (correct me if i am wrong).
There some wording and a list.
I am very keen to know more, please explain about it.
Is it made from cooper ?
how thick and tall this monument ?
Thank you.
First of thank you very much @BudiFXW for taking interest, investing time and showing interest.
Which really encourage us to explain more about this unique clock Tower which has got swss watch still in working condition.
I have kept our meet up in such a way so that the alarm
of these six clock together will be audible and visible to all the local guide together which some of local guide like @TusharSuradkar @TravellerG @AjitThite @Erna_LaBeau @Gurukrishnapriya @KhokonSharker could hear however @Anujkr was with me we could witnessed this live event multiple times.
The wall is having the name of freedom fighters who had been hanged till death on the tree visible beside the wall
clock.
The yellow color circle is visible is not made of metal that’s ASHOK CHAKRA which had been taken from Indian symbol of three lions and one Ashok chakra to show them the respect and symbol of gratitude.
Since I am traveling now will surely come back soon to give further detail reply for this historical Clock Tower.
Do you have some clock Tower in your region too.
Meanwhile you are most welcome to add further queries too will add in my final reply.
Thanks for your love.
