Mexico is a great place to visit and as you are learning spanish with movies it will be a unique opportunity to practice it here, and yes, mexicans are fun, we have a weird sense of humor, we always find a way to laugh at everything…even death, on Día de Muertos we write “calaveritas literarias” that are like poems, and they have to be about a friend of yours that is tricking and meaking fun of death.
If I ever travel to outer space I will write a post here on Connect about it with lots photos of course.

I am actually learning Spanish through Duolingo. But the movies are helping me to understand the language and culture better. Also, I think it’s easy to pick up a language from a native speaker, rather than from an application.
I will wait for your post on Connect for your outer space travel, @LaloPadilla . Hope you can make it one day.

I like when series are well structured and only last the necessary seasons that they need to tell the story otherwise they become boring.

@SoniaK I have online classes and I use Duolingo too! , I like the vocabulary feature, that shows you all the words that you have learned, but obvoulsy practicing with a native speaker is the best option.

so my Problem is, right now I’m using my work account that I’ve never used to as localguide account because my main account as localguides is currently being banned when accessing this forum ? i don’t even know why, because suddenly my main email account is suspended. so I need to use this account just to ask in here.
And to note that, I already even have appealed thru the Google Form, and I already got the reply that my account is not suspended and my contribution is still there. but I still can’t seem to have my localguides back to my main account in https://www.google.com/maps/contrib/101063779230267872561 , can you help me regarding this matter ?

so I’ve been wondering why I’ve been banned, I’m kinda sad with it and I already remorse with it, and hopefully I can be fully reinstated back again as local guides.

When I was a child I didnt like heights but now I enjoy every activity that involves being several meters above the ground
I can´t believe there are people that don´t like to look through the airplane window because the height, it’s the best view!

Me agrada la idea Ceci, en tu lista que nos llego a los 149,999,999 Local Guides hay muchos museos para elegir, veamos cuantos se pueden visitar y lograr que la barra que aparece en las listas avance un poco! Y no me puedo ir sin probar el mate y un buen asado
Exactamente esa es una de las razones @AlejandraMaria , al usar Google Earth se puede tener una experiencia similar, pero nada como ver el lugar en la vida real y poder ver los lugares más importantes desde lo alto. Ahí estaba yo en la oficina sin entender nada de alemán pero muy atento a las conversaciones de los managers jajaja. Gracias por tus comentarios y qué bueno tenerte de vuelta en Connect!
