The Mexican flag consists of three vertical bands in green, white, and red.
Green represents hope, white stands for purity, and red symbolizes the colorof blood of those who died fighting for Mexico’s independence.
The symbolism within the Mexican national flag is also the Mexican Coat of Arms. The story of the eagle and the cactus dates back to the Aztec Empire, the powerful state that ruled out of Tenochtitlán (ancient Mexico City) before the arrival of the Spanish.
February 24 is Flag Day in Mexico and it is celebrated with civic ceremonies honoring the Mexican Flag.
Very interesting @Ale_003 Thanks for sharing this nice post with. Flag of Bangladesh has two common colors with that of the Mexican flag. Our flag has only 2 colors Green and Red. Green symbolizes the Green nature of our country and Red symbolizes the blood that was sacrificed in 1971 during the liberation war when 3 million people were killed. Regards.
Thanks for sharing this useful information. Truly, every national flag depicts some meaning and it feels great to know that almost every country shares the similar meanings.
