The Mbaise New Yam Festival popularly known as “Iri ji Mbaise” is an annual event held worldwide. Mbaise People, as part of Igbo culture and tradition, celebrate their yam harvest by bringing the community together for colorful events. Different activities are held as part of a week-long programme - music, dance, food, drink and art presentations. This meet up intends to capture some of this age-long activities while enjoying the cultural displays. We shall also review, edit, add new places and enlighten people about Local Guides and Maps. Please, come with your gadgets fully charged and also bring power banks for extra charging. REFRESHMENTS; There will be water for all attendees, we shall also try out local yam delicacies. DRESS CODE: Traditional Wears only!
