Mawsawa Waterfalls, Cherrapunjee, Meghalaya, India

Mawsawa waterfalls one of the eye catching waterfalls I have ever seen at meghalaya in India.
In 2017, I and some of my friends went to a tour at Sohra (Cherrapunjee), India. we had to trek
from Laitryngew to Mawsawa waterfalls route. On this way we got Lyngksiar falls, Janailar falls and many more.Trekking route was also mind blowing with full of stunning natural views and cascades.

Hi @EmonKhalid

Thank you for sharing beautiful Mawsawa Waterfalls with us. How can we reach this place and when is the best time to visit it?

What activities can you do around? Can you add some more details to it? Where is this place in India and what was your experience while being there? What other places can you visit?

I would like to suggest that you take a look at these 14 helpful tips for using Connect and How to take photos for nature lovers.

@Aruni Meghalaya is a state in northeastern India and Shillong is the capital of this state. First you have to go Shillong and from then Laitryngew. From here trekking route is available. Rainy season is the best time to go here. This trekking route is full of stunning natural views, cascades and falls. Lyngksiar Falls, Janailar Falls and some others falls you can visit on the way of Mawsawa falls. In short, I can say if you love nature, falls, cascades, trekking then go I hope you must like this place.

Of course… From Laitryngew to Mawsawa it took around 3 hours. As we spent many time in front of falls and sometime we walked through cascades to enjoy natural beauty… @Gautamda
