- Mawa ferry ghat is located in Sreenagar subdistrict Munshiganj District , Bangladesh . This ferry ghat is open 24 hour because it is probably biggest ferry terminal in Bangladesh. The gigantic Padma Bridge is building near Mawa ferry ghat. One of the important thing is that it is well known for it’s Hilsha Fish. Every year thousands of people’s travel there for eating Hilsha Fish.
A little Over weeks ago me with my friends travelled Mawa ferry ghat. It’s one of the best moments with these guys.

Mawa is around 50km away from Dhaka city, so we went there through local bus. It tooks approximately 3 hr including traffic jam. Afterwards we frist of all went Padma Resort which is a small island in Padma River. Padma resort one kind of refreshing place.

Entry fee of Padma resort is 50Taka (BDT). People can stay here A day and night reserving room. A restaurant is situated over there, you can eat food by package types manu.

After some time spent at Padma resort we backed to ferry ghat for eating Hilsha Fish. The taste was amazing.
At 3 pm we took a bus then went back to Dhaka city.
