Wow such a great explanation about Mauritius
.
On ‘Connect,’ I consider myself to be a keen reader. In that spirit, while browsing through the platform, I noticed that your post had been ‘pinned.’ To my understanding, being pinned signifies that a post warrants discussion; consequently, so congratulations for pinned the post, Anyway I read it with great interest. What truly captivated me after reading were the mind-blowing facts you shared—they are, quite literally, mind-blowing. You provided fascinating insights into geographical mysteries, and for sharing such magnificent information, a sweet
‘thank you’ is certainly in order. @KashifMisidia
Beautifully captured! The colors of Chamarel and the lush surroundings near the waterfall really make this place feel unreal. @KashifMisidia
Thanks for sharing such a vibrant glimpse of Mauritius!
The Seven Colored Earth caught my attention the most @KashifMisidia Bhai.
So nice to read your post as always because through your travel diary, it felt like you brought us to Mauritius, too.

Thank you for tagging me @KashifMisidia ji ! Eid Mubarak to you and your family ! The series is amazing, got to know so much about amazing places in Mauritius. I havent been there but I would love to go there some day !
Eid Mubarak Bhai

I couldn’t agree more with you, @KashifMisidia bhai. Mauritius has a way of drawing you inward while simultaneously opening your eyes to the breathtaking beauty all around. It truly feels like being cradled in nature, as if it’s a gentle reminder of how kind life can be to offer such an experience.
Your words brought back a flood of memories from my own visit long ago; I felt the same sense of peace and connection. Thank you, bhai, for rekindling those emotions and reminding me of this truly special place.
I thought I would share a few gems from my archive inspired by your post, hope they resonate with you just as deeply.
@KashifMisidia Dada Everything about this trip you narrated was truly fantastic.
Your virtual tour through YouTube clips made me feel as if I was there myself.
The cascading, beautiful waterfall and the seven coloured earth were absolutely mind-blowing ![]()
It’s reassuring to know that the management has taken steps to fence and protect such a unique natural phenomenon,it truly deserves preservation and care.
Your narration also allowed me to experience the sight of the giant tortoise, which was equally fascinating.
Thank you
for sharing the beauty of Mauritius with us so vividly. I’ve saved all this information to my bucket list and will definitely visit these places whenever I get the chance to be there.
@KashifMisidia it was such a pleasure hosting you here in Mauritius. Your trip to Mauritius may have been brief, but the way you experienced it and the way you wrote about it made it feel whole, deep, and unforgettable ![]()
We Mauritians often forget how lucky we are, we grow up surrounded by beaches, tropical weather, and incredible natural wonders, and sometimes take them for granted. But reading your article reminded me just how proud and grateful we should be
You captured every moment with so much sincerity and emotion, and as your friend and host, it truly warms my heart to know that your short stay felt meaningful and complete.
I had never actually checked the sand‑separation phenomenon myself, I will have to test it myself. I think years ago I even gave you a small test tube of the 7 Coloured Earth… you should try mixing it and see for yourself ![]()
I also took a little time to respond because I was digging through thousands of old family photos! Here are a few from over 30 years ago, from my very first visit to Chamarel with my family; I must have been around 8 or 9. And I do not know why am the only one never looking at the camera! ![]()

These photos cannot be compared with your professional shots which are all amazing, but our old camera holds a memory I carry in my heart. It was one of the only outings I ever had with my grandfather, and I’ll never forget it ![]()
Thank you for awakening those nostalgic memories. Flipping through our old photo albums, from among thousands of other pictures, was unexpectedly heartwarming and so full of joy ![]()
Thank you @KashifMisidia for sharing Mauritius in such a beautiful way. Reading everyone’s comments truly moved me it’s emotional to see how my little island is touching hearts and gaining recognition through your posts.

See how the seven coloured earth was some 30+ years ago
In earlier decades (before the area became protected), visitors were able to walk directly on the coloured sand dunes at Chamarel. However, this practice caused erosion and damage over time. The area is fully fenced, and visitors must stay behind the wooden barriers.
Did you guys know we also have the 23 Coloured Earth by Vallé Advenature Park ?
I did not mention this attraction to you @KashifMisidia because it’s huge and full of activities; zipline, quad etc. Knowing you, you will want such adventures but we wouldn’t have had enough time to enjoy it properly. Sorry I didn’t mention it then… but next time you visit, we’ll definitely reserve a full day and make the most of it! ![]()

Until now YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK-USA Park was the only destination on my world tour bucket list—but now 23 Colored Earth by Valley Adventure Park has definitely been added too. Thanks for tagging me, and a special thanks to you for the detailed overview @SwetaDhondoo ![]()
