Hi I want to remove all my images from maps, I’m not impressed by the Google photos reduction of service & probability of it becoming paid. So I want out now so need a way of removing all images. Is there a way of deleting multiple at once or even 1 at a time if mass is not possible

Temo che questa non sia la sezione corretta per fare questa domanda ma ti posso assicurare che le foto che hai già caricato su Google Foto non saranno considerate nel cambiamento che avverrà nei prossimi mesi.
Tutte le foto che hai già sincronizzato le puoi tenere senza problemi. Invece da Agosto 2021 quando caricherai una foto, questa andrà ad incidere sullo spaziodi archiviazione del tuo account.

I think that you can only erase one photo at a time from Google Maps.
@Ikh Why do you upload your photos to Google Maps from Google Photos if you don’t like the resolution? You could upload them from your own camera, couldn’t you?

@Ikh , as @Lorenzo_Lunadei said, the changes in Google Photos will start from June, and the photos uploaded till that date are not counted against your storage, and Yes, this is the wrong section of Connect for posting question. To move your post to "How Tos, you need to press the three blue dots on your post then click on “edit”. Edit your post - Why and How To will guide you.
Regarding your question, what @BeatrizAguilar (ciao Bea) said is correct, if you want to delete your photos from Google Maps you will have to do it one by one

Thanks I will get on with one at a time then. I’m not bothered about the resolution on Google maps. But I’ve decided to remove them because G has changed its storage policies so I’m moving a my content off Google, I have hi res on hard drives, but I don’t see the point of keeping Google any more.

Maps and Google Photos are not shared @Ikh - you can delete from Google Photos without affecting Maps.
You are of course welcome to delete your content but remember if you delete from Maps then they will no longer be visible to the Maps community and you will lose points.
You can use https://takeout.google.com/ to retrieve content from almost anywhere it is stored in Google.
Some feedback - looking at your content, most do not seem to be related to the places you’ve added them to. It is very important to contribute images that are helpful to other people and that are directly related to the place they’ve been added to. Maps isn’t an art gallery.

I know they are not connected that’s why I asked the question but the relationship is google removing services which they are entitled to do. So I’m deleting content on maps as my response I don’t care about the points

No problem @Ikh you are of course welcome to remove your content. One piece of advice, if you’re also going to leave the Local Guides program don’t do that until after you’ve removed your content. I’m not sure what happens if you leave then try to remove photos. It might work, but I’m not sure :).
