I am writing because my account is suffering a massive false positive from the spam algorithm, and it is completely overwhelming my email with notifications.
I have a Level 9 Local Guide account with more than 22,000 contributions and 121 million views. My partner and I travel all over the world and we only upload real photos, videos, and honest reviews of our trips.
Recently, Google Maps blocked 80 of my reviews at once. I have already appealed 40 of them, and all 40 have been approved and reinstated, which proves my content is 100% legitimate. However, I still have another 40 reviews blocked, and appealing them one by one while receiving dozens of automated emails is exhausting.
Could a Google Moderator please look into my profile and help me review these remaining blocks in bulk? It is very frustrating to experience this aggressive filtering on an established and trusted account.
Hi! Thanks for your comment, but that is not the case here.
We never mention our blog, channel, or any links in our reviews. We only upload 100% genuine reviews, photos, and videos of our personal trips as regular Local Guides.
Our issue is not related to commercial content. The problem is that the spam algorithm suffered a massive false positive glitch, blocking 80 reviews at once. Since 40 of our appeals have already been approved and reinstated by Google, it proves our contributions are perfectly fine.
The issue we are facing now is the absolute exhaustion and email saturation from having to appeal the remaining 40 reviews one by one. We just need a Google Moderator to help us process the rest in bulk.
