I visited the Marneef Caves & Blowholes during my recently visit of the southern area of Oman.
Marneef Beach is beautiful itself with beautiful white sand and the water is warm. Surfing would be nice here although I didn’t see any surfees nor do I know if people do surf here.
The cave and blowholes are very popular with the locals, tourists, and expats. It is a nice place to relax and enjoy the ocean, and have a picnic.
The day I visited, the tide was too far out and the weather to calm for water to blow out the blowholes. It didn’t matter to me much as I’ve seen many blowholes in New Zealand. The blowholes are covered by steel grates for safety reasons.
