What’s Marble Mountains in Da Nang?
Marble Mountains is a cluster of five marble and limestone hills located in Ngũ Hành Sơn District, south of Da Nang city in Vietnam. The five mountains are named after the five elements: Kim, Thuy, Moc, Hoa and Tho. A stairway of 156 steps leads to the summit of Thuy Son, the only Marble Mountain accessible to visitors. There is also a paid lift which is not worth it takes you to only a few steps up. There is a ticket counter 40K VND per person (parking or lift extra).

If you are in Da Nang and wondering the city view location then this place is for you. It is slightly up but really good…
Some Important Tips
- You need to spend atleast half day so come if you have enough time.
- Choose a cloudy day if you can
- Keep 2 litre of water at least
- Do not buy 15k elevator ticket as it takes you to 4th floor which is only 70 steps away.
- There is no elevator for caves, or main points.
- Food & Water is very expensive and very less availability.’
- There are a few caves, & some caves are narrow, but a must visit.
Best time of the day to visit
But best to go early morning , as it opens at 7 am. Also must go to the highest point from where you can see the entire city.
Parking myths on google maps
There are no such parking scams, use your mind and park your motor bike to any of the shop. For car it’s a big parking before the entrance. Google map location is wrong, I corrected it, hope it helps. Enjoy some pics-
