Many of my reviews with over 200 characters not counted in Helpfulness. Why ?

I have written many detailed reviews with over 200 characters but my review still showing 42 out of 50 only. Not moving further. Not increasing. Is there any technical issues. I am Local Guides Level 10 with 670 reviews but still I would have at least more than 50 reviews with over 200 characters.

Hi @CABharatBhandari

I can confirm from your public profile that you have added 670 reviews and only 639 of them are public.

Google has automatic filters that hide your reviews so only you can see them. This can happen when some of your reviews violate the guidelines, including:
Prohibited and Restricted Content
Format Specific Criteria (See under Text Reviews and Captions)

Read about typical review guideline violations here.

That might explain what you observed.

Also please be aware that badge statistics are updated only once a week or so.

The hidden reviews might not be your fault. Read: Known issue: Unpublished reviews and photos on Google Maps. And, please make a reply there and request your account also be investigated.

Best of luck
Morten

I agree with you. But I am getting additional 10 points for detailed review. I am getting 10 +10 points for review more than 200 characters. Then how ?

It would be really helpful if you would use the tagging tool when replying to someone here on Connect. Type @ followed by the username. Type slowly. Then we get an e-mail notification and you are more likely to get a prompt reply.

You may not be aware that the screen shown counting your points after each contribution is just a motivational gimmick. Points are not credited until after approval.
