This temple is around 125 KMs from Warangal city and is approximately 2 hour drive. Temple is built in 5th century and the main statue or moolaviraat is Sri Narasimha Swamy. This temple has few specialties and carries few uniqueness. Moolaviraat height is approximately 10 feet and unlike any other statue, the above waist of the statue is soft as human skin and is wet. Poojary would show us the softness of the skin around the waist. We have other deities in the temple premises and one prominent one is Ugra Anjaneya Swamy which is imbibed into the rocks.
There is a small waterfall named Chintamani Waterfall which seems to have some medicinal properties - this stems from the fact that the water flows from the roots of many trees in the jungle.
This temple is in a jungle and hence be aware of the monkeys - literally countless, hungry and ready to grab any food item in your hands. Be careful of your belongings. Keep everything closed. No proper restaurants nearby so plan accordingly. May the blessings of Sri Narasimha Swamy always be with you and your family.
Note: This temple is also called Hemachala Narasimha Swamy Temple.
