Malcha Marg & its charming cafés & diners Part 1

Today I am here with yet another fabulous area, high ended with some chic & contemporary cafés & outlets.

The Malcha Marg Market

The market offers a variety of shops, cafes, and restaurants, including European, Chinese, healthier options. There is ample parking & calm, relaxed atmosphere. It’s not a busy market. Prices are higher.

I’ll take you through the cafés that I have visited in this market

The Beautiful Amour Bistro

Beautiful aesthetics and charming place. It has a European theme. The cafe opens at 7.30 am and serves breakfast until 11.30 AM. Cafe is Vegetarian friendly, Vegan options, Gluten free options available. Sit by the window side and enjoy greenery. Menu and taste are not great but you would enjoy the ambience.

Opens at 7.30 AM. Closing time - 11 PM.

Cafe Fig

It’s a spacious lovely and lively cafe with a soothing ambience. Done in light shades it has an upper level seating. Warm soothing tones with a good ambience. Built on the ground and 1st floor and an open kitchen. Nice background music. They serve nice coffees, pizzas, pasta.

The pizza that we had here was slightly different. You can choose two varieties of pizza in One. We ordered Mediterranean and farm fresh two halves to make one pizza. This is a nice concept that one can order two different pizzas in Half to make one whole. Then we had Ribbon pasta.

Opens at 7.30 AM. Closing time - 11 PM.

It’s a very lively market surrounded by greenery. There are couple of salons, HDFC bank etc. It is quite well lit at night.

Then opposite these cafés there are small kiosks for street food. There are kiosks selling lunch, paranthas, bread pakodas at reasonable rates.

Parking - Ample parking is available at Rs 20 per hour.

Nearby attractions & shopping - Chanakya hall with nice cafés, multiplex & Yashwant Singh complex is quite close by. You get ample Chinese both veg and non veg until after Midnight. Then Santushti complex is close too. So much more around. Even Connaught Place is not far off.

Wheelchair accessible- No

Enjoy & wait for Part 11
