As promised, here is Part 11 of showcasing beautiful cafés in Malcha Marg that I have been to.
An upscale market with upscale diners, cafés, bakeries, grocery stores etc. Catering mostly to diplomats and expats.
Cafe Eleved
The cafe is a theme based cafe with wellness at its core. Cafe is on the ground floor & they have a yoga center ‘LifeYoga’ on the first floor. The cafe serves Coffee, Tea, Continental, Healthy Food, Modern Indian, South Indian, Juices & more. Cafe is small with seating for 15-20 with a space for selling organic merchandise like apparels, soaps, perfumes, lotions, edibles like pickles, rice, lentils, sauces etc
Menu is quite on the healthier side and quite expensive too. Also, a lil complicated
keep it handy, you will need to refer to it!
For eg jackfruit and chickpea open faced taco, broccoli parantha. Lentil pakwan tostada like a maize parantha with strawberry sauce , earth rice bowl, mogra sherbet Etc. another interesting item was saffron shrikhand Mille-feuille , a French pastry with an Indian twist like ragi and shrikhand.
I went for breakfast and had broccoli paranthas in vegan flour with some exotic dips. Rs 500 for a plate of 2 paranthas. Had a rose fig smoothie with it. You’ll like the taste but nothing out of the world. Quiet and Cosy ambience though early morning. Nice meditative music playing.
Opens at 7.30 AM
Cafe Meethi
This is one of the expensive ones when it comes to Indian sweets. Meethi is a Chique cafe cum restaurant in Malcha Marg. Ground floor has mithaais and you can call it a modern mithai shop. We tried a few sweets like almond kajoo burfi, milk cake etc. regular taste just like any other sweet shop in fact have tasted better but the mithais are quite expensive. They have a restaurant on the 1st floor. Chaat, Punjabi etc. chaat again are quite expensive like Rs 500 plus.
It is said that Meethi is Actor Akshay Kumar’s go to shop !
Part 111 coming soon !
