I currently teach world religions in college and I have students from different part of the world with different faith and cultural backgrounds. What I love about Google Maps is the ability to share information about different places I visit, restaurants, community services like libraries, recreation centers, place of worship etc to connect people from all over the world together. As someone who grew up in Africa, I longed to be able to visit places through technology and that’s what Google Maps is helping me to do.
