A few months ago I shifted to using an Android operating system on my phone, for the first time. Boy did I feel bad for discovering it so late. Better late than never! I love to travel - over the past 9 years I have visited 60 countries. I am also one of those people who photographs everything. From food, to hotel rooms, to signs, to mountains or an interesting tree - I want to capture the essence of my journey!
A lot of people used to comment on my photographing items such as food - I don’t know, I just liked to do it! But they sat in my phone unseen.
Until I switched to Android. Better yet, when I visited a place and a few minutes later I would get an alert saying, would you like to add photos of XYZ restaurant? YES PLEASE! I have of late become obsessed with uploading photos - and for a traveler like me this brings a lot of joy to my life to add photos which may help someone in taking a decision whether to visit that place or not. I’ve actually backed up a lot of my photos to Google drive and have reviewed places from New Zealand, to Pakistan (where I am from), to the area local to me in London.
Along with adding photos I have also started tagging food dishes and adding full reviews, even though my photo taking generally over powers all the others - I do try though!
