As an employee who works in a Tire manufacturer Company, part of my job is to visit Tire shops and Distributors regularly in DKI Jakarta, West Java and Banten in Indonesia. While doing my work I often share information to Google as a Local Guide about Tire Shops I’ve visited to; about how good their mechanics are, their Tire availability for every type of vehicles, how sophisticated the equipment they have etc. And of course, not to forget; share information about beauty of the nature, hype spots and culinary from the places I’ve been to, beside the work things.
When in vacation I go road trip with wife and kids to Central Java, East Java or Bali Island. We’ve been to enchanting beaches, beautiful mountains, best places to eat and drink.
Do you know how many states we have in Indonesia? There are thirty four States. I have been in twelve states in my life. And yet only six I’ve reviewed. It’s a very small amount of areas if compared to total of land on earth. However, it’s a beautiful country, Indonesia is. On every way of destinations, I always found new interesting places.
When it’s time to take pictures, mostly I use camera integrated on my cell phone. The pictures captured were not the best quality. But I do hope those pictures and the reviews could give some new perspectives to other people.
We capture moments, we share experiences. No matter how small or big the information is, it could be useful to the next travelers. It would make all of my journey more meaningful. To leave footprints, breadcrumbs, so people whom desire to travel to places I’ve been, would be more prepared. I really want to make people to have desires to get out there and explore Indonesia.
For now and future I motivate myself to go to many places as I can go, places I haven’t been in Indonesia, even all around the world. Every journey I would’ve made, will become more valuable because captured and shared. Local Guide Program makes every journey matter.
