Mahatma Gandhi statue in Wellington, NZ

Many people (said young people) only knew about Indian film industry after “Slumdog Millionaire” but I knew about them since I was a kid @TusharSuradkar at ceremonies, they often played Film very late at night at the paddy field where people (young and old) would come together, sit and sleep to watch these movies. It was since Mr. Bachchan was still a young star or SriDevi was a young actress. I mean at that time, Indian film industry dominated us. There were no Korean film or Thai film. During 1980s (after the civil wars), our film industry were influenced by Indian film, we could see in the fashion (clothes), the hairstyles and the film itself where they would put one-two songs in the middle of the movie.

P.S. The Korean KPop dancing to me is just like a new version of Bollywood dancing.
