Thanks for your kind feedback and happy that you enjoyed the post.

Your kind words are very inspiring and are very important to me.

The Statue is referred to as Tiger or Lion.

If it is a lion, then Pallava Kings had 2 insignia:

  1. Lion and

  2. Nandi.

That way it has its importance.

However, you might have already noticed that the Tiger-faces (Vyali or Yali) are very popular in Mahabalipuram - the biggest example being the Tiger Cave. (Here)

Hope I answered you well.

Regards, dear @TusharSuradkar Ji

Oh… I see…

I used to take morning & evening walks and used to visit different towns and roads, covering different shops and Poi’s. I used to visit 5 to 20 places (of course used to add photos too) a day which yielded my score - may be this will help you to plan little better?

All the best…

Hello fellow LG @AnnKandee ,

I sincerely invite you to kindly visit my post & give your feedback, please.

Thanks in advance.

Nice post.

Why is flash photography prohibited if I may ask?

I remember you showing me the ‘My maps’ feature using this Mahabalipuram series. What tenacity?! 43 posts?! Wow @TravellerG

Hello dear @Ewaade_3A

Thanks for your kind words…

Happy that you liked it.

“… Why is flash photography prohibited…”

To be frank with you, here I need to make my guess only…

Some people believe that flash light used over a period can damage the monuments!

“My maps’ feature using this Mahabalipuram series.”

Yes, you are absolutely right… It is for these series only…

“What tenacity?! 43 posts?!”

Though government has announced around 40 PoIs, I could locate 51 PoIs. So, we will have 51 posts in this series.

Greetings to you…

The article is absolutely amazing. I am more curious about how you take such beautiful pictures . Can I ask you, what device you use to take pictures?

Hello dear @Nachiket_methre

Thank you very much for inspiring words - your companionship is very important to me.

Regarding the Cameras:

I use both Professional and Pro sumer cameras.

For this series of Mahabalipuram Photoshoot, I (and my team) have used both the cameras. The shots in this post are shot using Sony Professional DSLR 7RM2 in 2018. The lens used is TAMARON 24 70 mm f/2.8.

If you need any further assistance, let me know.

Regards.

PS :

Looks that you forgot to tag me in your response - just for your information.
