In Japan they have cherry blossoms. I hear they are a sight to behold. Well, in Kenya we have jacaranda trees that have the most breathtaking little purple flowers that give off unbelievably exotic fresh scents during this time of the year. As l walk the deserted silent footpaths…they are quite deserted l tell you…this is no romance. l can’t see a single soul from where l stand. In all honesty though, what’s with the goosebumps?! Well okay… Anyway my feet walk on a wealth of purple flowers that seem like they were sprinkled just for me…and what heavenly perfume they give off when crushed accidentally. By accidentally, l mean that right now am tiptoeing as much as l can to save these beautiful petals in the most humanly possible way. In all seriousness though, even the bleakest of characters cannot help but soften when they behold such a site. Call it humble…but l call it truly magical.

Hi @Linnie1 ,
Thanks for sharing it with us! It’s really beautiful!
Purple is my favourite colour so I am glad to see such trees. Do you have a lot of them in your country? Or they are rare?

Most welcome. Yes…we do have quite a number lining the streets everywhere. Most people also have them in their homes so am sure you can imagine the splash of colour that greets your eyes every morning. You should come visit.
