I have noticed that the Macro icon has gone missing in the text editor here on Connect.
I’m using Android, the latest Chrome browser and I have tested both with the Gboard and the Swift keyboards.
Now the Macro icon is also missing when typing a new post.
Do others experience the same problem?

Thanks for testing and confirming.
I just restarted my phone and now the macro icon is back when typing this reply. Strang. Currently I’m using Gboard. I will continue testing and keep an eye out for his issue.

Replying while using Swift is no different. MACROS are still visible after the restart.

I don’t see any change in that even after restarting the phone.
Let’s expect a resolution of the bug soon.
Surprisingly, the macro option becomes visible in the desktop mode. We can use that workaround till then.
Kindly look into this.

Still no macro icon when editing an older reply. Making a new reply do show the macros.

Thanks for tagging me! To sum up, when and where can you see the macros option? Is it visible for you when you start a new post, start a new reply, and edit a reply on desktop and mobile? If not, could you please tell me in which cases is the option not visible for you? This will help with investigating the issue.

If possible, could you also try deleting your browser cache and cookies and try then? Thank you all so much for your time!

Edit a reply is consistently without the Macros-icon.
I noticed once that new reply also had the problem but now it is okay.
Will flush the cache and edit this reply soon.

Macros-icon is still missing. Like with similar issues in the past it looks like the icon is drawn on the screen just to be hidden a split second later.

After deleting all cookies and site data and restart of Chrome :
The problem is still there. And now I need to rebuild my cookies for a several days!

The Macros button does not become visible when we try to edit a reply on the phone. In short, we can’t use the macro function on the phone, while editing a reply.
