Macau Small Baguette 澳門豬仔飽

The day before yesterday, I bought 10 MOP (little more than US$1) of three breads from Macau Ma Hong Kfi. Put it in the toaster for reheat, and find it is delicious and Crunchy. This is the bread of the famous ‘Macau Pork Chop Bun’.

I tried to elaborate on the history of this bread in 60 years ago. Many Chinese refugees flocked to Hong Kong and Macau. There is no spare place to live in Hong Kong, and Macau is poor to have enough food and clothing. At that time, a large amount of foreign flour, butter and clothing was donated from foreign countries. These breads are made from these donated flours.

The bread reminds me that we are all people in the global village and love peace.
