The ship from the port of Sa Ky, Quang Ngai to the main jetty of Ly Son Island, out of the wharf, turn left to go along the small road about 1.5 km will see a small ledge close to the sea.
That is the Archway. The Archway on Ly Son Island is a stone arch of about 2.5m high, stretching out to the sea with a spectacular shape. This is considered the most beautiful and unique archway in Vietnam.
Surrounding Archway is the lustrous black lava rock, strange shapes bobbing on the clear water of Ly Son island. According to geologists, Archway is formed from volcanic lava, a result of millions of years of volcanic activity here.
Archway is also called paradise gate because of the pristine romance of this stone arch which has become a favorite place for couples coming to take photos.

Usually when I go to a certain scene, I have to capture the sunrise or sunset. When I arrived at this position at 1 pm, there were few people at this time, so I took some photos in the sunlight. Realizing that here I could capture the sunset through the archway and it would be a great picture … so I waited here until 5 pm and everything was ready. But unexpectedly, at that time there were 2-3 groups of tourist cars coming here and countless people, they climbed up the gate a lot, not to mention the rest of them were below the archway. I waited another hour, but the number of people only decreased by about half. In the end, I had to take some photos of the sunset in a mood of not being very happy…Have you ever encountered a situation like me !
