This is Lumbini, NEPAL. The birth place of Lord Buddha. 70% people of the world do not know that Lord Buddha was born in Nepal. This is Maya Devi temple where the mother of Lord Buddha gave birth to Lord Buddha. Its believed that Lord Buddha walked 7 steps when he was born. And inside you can see his foot steps in this very temple named after haa mother Maya Devi. The cost for Nepali citizens is Nrs 50 and for foreigners is Nrs. 500.

I am fortunately among the 70% who are aware that Lord Buddha was born in Lumbini.

I will definitely visit this place once travel to Nepal is opened up.
