In Argentina, we are famous for our beef and our Tango, but there is something else that you probably don´t know about us: we love, and I mean LOVE, to eat sweet things.
You probably have heard about the Dulce de Leche (called Caramel in the northern hemisphere, although it is not exactly the same), and our amazing ice creams (perhaps better than the italian)
But there is something else: our pastries and cakes. That´s why a few months ago I went to document 30 of the best artisanal bakeries and made Google StreetView shots as well as still photos of their best products.
These are some of the best ones, so if you are hungry and want a tase of the sweet Buenos Aires, are more than welcomed:
These first three photos are from ESTO ES RUIZ, a small shop which has incredible products, made with such a good taste and sense of art that you won´t want to eat them!..well, of course you will eat them all, only with a bit of guilt
The following is from LAS VIIOLETAS, an historic bakery and cafe in Buenos Aires:
And this is from LA NUEVA MEUGUET, a place where you can find the best viennese pastries in the City
If you liked this, let me know and I will keep posting amazing photos from our best artisanal bakeries in Buenos Aires!
