Festive Fun at Boom Battle Bar Oxford Street
I had a super fun time trying axe throwing for the first time here during our office Christmas social! The place isn’t just a bar — it’s a vibrant social hub with games, drinks, food and a lively atmosphere right in the heart of Oxford Street.
The augmented reality (AR) axe throwing adds a modern twist to traditional axe games. You throw real axes at targets, but with digital animations and challenges — like moving targets and themed modes such as Battle Royale or Duck Hunt — which makes it feel fun and interactive even for first-timers.
Inside, you’ll also find other activities like AR darts, beer pong, shuffleboard and more. The staff were friendly and the vibe was energetic — perfect for group socials, especially at this festive time of year.
