Lotus Temple

Lotus temple is one of the favour tourist attractions of Delhi , it’s famous because of its structure which is look like a lotus .

there was a prayer hall in lotus temple in which you all have to sit peacefully and without any sound and try to meditate this is one of the best thing here .

There are some important things to note :

  1. The entry ticket is free for this place.
  2. Wheelchair accessibility :x:
  3. Wheelchair Ramps :x:
  4. This whole temple take energy from solar panels which is sustainable and contribute to mother earth .
  5. Photography is allowed
  6. Nearest bus stop - kailash colony
  7. Nearest metro Station - kailash colony / kalkaji mandir metro station.

TIP : If you want to travel a whole day then definitely come to this place because the two other main attractions of Delhi

  • Kalkaji temple
  • Iskcon temple

Is also located in the walking distance of this place .

The lotus temple is eternal beauty and you have captured some amazing shots @Mukul_Anand

I have been visiting here for the past 30 years but the sunset view and also the interior views are refreshingly new.

Did you also visit the nearby ISKON temple and saw the largest Bhagwad Gita in the world hosted there?

Yes @TusharSuradkar sir I visited iskcon temple about every Sunday and I also post on connect about my experience , yes i visit in that show too .

I visited in two iskcon one in Punjabi bagh and other in East of Kailash which is one of the biggest iskcon temple in India :blush: .

I was happy to know that you also visited here .

Yes , photography is allowed in lotus temple as well as in iskcon too @TravellerG i spend almost 40 minutes here because the prayer hall is closed on that day .

Hi @Mukul_Anand i hope you doing super great. The 1st photo with the sunset its mind-blowing. I had visited lotus temple 15 years back and looks like the beauty of temple has not changed at all.
