Medan lontong cuisine consists of lontong made from rice, dry chili sauce which is a combination of peanuts, tempeh, and anchovies. Then curry from jipang gourd mixed with carrots and long beans.
Long bean tauco that can be combined with peeled shellfish or chicken offal, such as chicken liver and intestines which are cut into small pieces. The last part is the stick noodle which can be cooked with spices and cabbage mixture or just boiled. Lontong sayur medan also gets more delicious when you add them with boiled eggs
