The project you have in mind is a very good idea, the important thing is to spread it so that it reaches more people and raise awareness about the big pollution problem we have around the world to take the appropriate measures and counteract it with the help of application and WasteReporting
You have my support, greetings from Mexico.
Thank you @MelissaRC , follow the link on the initial post if you need to learn how to use Google Mymaps. The course prepared by @DavidTito is very good.
If you want to organise also some clean-up action, here below on my signature you will find the link to the original #LocalGuidesCleanTheWorld project.
Do you know that in our clean-up action in San Francisco we had Local Guides from more than 20 different Countries, from Australia to Argentina to Japan?
Have a fun in a clean environement
@ErmesT just some feedback here, the link in your comment quote: our clean-up action in San Francisco
denies me access?
Thank you for the head up @DavidTito , the link has been fixed:

@ErmesT I just tested it Perfect now
wow, this a great initiative @ErmesT kudos. it is rare to find people who think like you these days. i did a beach cleanup in my local community, because i dislike seeing places nasty. i would like to also organize one of such for the project. great content and i love the video. if i alone could give it 100 likes, i would.
You are welcome @Lily_Asongfac
I am so glad the you like it. Well, to understand the project we have to go back to one year ago, to Local Guides Clean The World - A Local Guides project.
The worldwide âMymaps of plastic pollutionâ will show you how much has been done, how many post, how many Local Guides are following this idea.
Welcome onboard, you are home here
@ErmesT I was looking for the post about that couldnât find tho, I wanted to incorporate there Flags into the project #LGCTW somehow Iâm still giving it thought
Hello @ErmesT
Hope youâre keeping well!
Hereâs the link to the French translation version of this post. A really worthwhile cause! !

Hi @ErmesT this is the location I was talking about, I added it on the map and shared it but I am not sure if I did it correctly Maritime Museum
Yes you did it @Raphael-Mahumane
It would be great if you have also some photo to share. The visual impact is normally very effective. I can eventually suggest a âpollution chasingâ photowalk meet-up, to give consistency to your report. At the end of the main post you will also find the links to the Mymaps course that @DavidTito made for all of us
Ok @ErmesT , I will work on that and organise a meet-up based on pollution, for now I did not capture photos showing the pollution, I only have those showing clean and nice places, I will check the link you talking about.
Thank you.
Thank you so much @Raphael-Mahumane
Reporting, making it public is very important. A lot of time everyone see, but nobody say anything so it seems that, as this is the normal situation, this is acceptable, while it is not.
So now you have a target for your âEvery day is Earth dayâ
Good luck !! Environmental battles are not easy to win, but we must think about small steps. The sea is filled by drops, you know, so we need a lot of drops to make the world a clean place
@ErmesT I have a task already. Thank you!
You are welcome. It would be great if you can post it on your âggreen introductionâ. It will inspire others for sure, @Raphael-Mahumane
So, THANK YOU
Ok, I will @ErmesT . Thank youâŚ
Its our duty to keep our near by place clean .We spend hours to keep our house clean ,same way if every person spend few hours in cleaning the nearby place we can do wonderâs.
@ErmesT i am ready for itđ˝
I agree @RosyKohli that we should keep our community tidy and clean, thus showing how much we value our roles as Local Guides, in the way we interact with each other.
-
We have to show consideration to not only our communities but to each other
-
Showing how proud you are of your area is the way forward
I find this post is relevant with my Google Connect Live Post 2019:
Although itâs a big thing, we should start with the small things, which is ourselves.
Cause small things can give impact to the world if we are doing it together with one vision.
Cheers from Bandung, Indonesia!
