Well I was offered a reward for the first time ever about a couple of weeks ago, but it seems the code to redeem it was only valid for a few days. Six days to be specific. I am busy so I didn’t even look at the email for a week; It’s from Google, it’s not urgent by definition. I didn’t see the fine print but it was already expired by that point, but I didn’t discover that until today.
Now this isn’t particularly Important to me but I should point out that offering a reward is great and all but sending out a redemption code that expires in a few days guarantees that a lot of people won’t be able to redeem it. I don’t feel appreciated I feel given the run-around. It would have been better to not offer it at all.
£4 credit reward issued on 5th Nov. Terms state it “must be added to a Google Payments account by November 21, 2022. Once added, credit must be used on Google Play by December 5, 2022 at 11:59 PM PST.”
Attempted to redeem it less than 24 hrs later on 6th November but get “The code you entered has expired.” message.
Having the same problem, this morning (7-Nov). Received the credit on 5-Nov, so I should have until 5-Dec to redeem it but I am being told it has already expired.
