Local Guides Meetup Questions

I am planning a local food crawl meetup in Harrisburg PA on July 14. Here are the details - https://maps.google.com/localguides/meetup/lets-do-lunch. This event is open to all local Google guides and guests. We will be crawling through the many food vendors in a local farmers market where there are lots of food vendors from greek to hamburgers. I intend to promote this meetup as an opportunity to find the ‘best of the best’ and I am now in the initial planning stages. Here are some questions and I would greatly appreciate input from my fellow guides as well as anyone from Google management.

Is it appropriate to invite everyone including the guests of guides to participate?

In addition to using #LocalGuides would it be useful/adviseable to use a more specific tag such as #LunchAtBroad?

Thanks for your promot respone. -Scott

Hi @BigOnBiking nice to hear that your hosting a meet-up in your city

Yes, ofcourse you can have many new faces in your meet-up. also, I would advise you to share the event on your social media pages (Google+, FB and etc) to reach more participants. don’t forget to share the event with your local guides community members too.

I always prefer to use #LocalGuides tag since it is used globally, also you can use the tag #FoodCrawl. there is no limit or restrictions to use tags unless they are business oriented. so you can use #LunchAtBroad with #LocalGuides #FoodCrawl.

hope you will come up with a beautiful meet-up soon. all the best :v:

Thanks for your feedback.
