Local Guides - Love where you live

How amazing is it to have so much beauty awaiting in your own backyard.

I became a local guide so that I can show off the wonders of all these beautiful locations, that for me happen to be so easily accessible, some people may not even know they exist though.

I love reviewing in a way that means people know exactly what to expect when they arrive (like if they’ll need a pit stop beforehand cause there’s no bathroom available )

I am lucky enough to have the wonders of the Mornington Peninsula and Melbourne/Victoria in general, right within my reach!

So recently, I have been completing my own little campaign Love where you live.

This for me involves grabbing the family most weekends and heading out to different locations and exploring, it has been such a great experience for us and we have captured so many picturesque places and shared those with the Google community.

I would love for others to share in these and see all the amazing places available to visit! So I’ll be doing exactly that and sharing on here when I can.

Thanks for reading along!!

Xx Steph

Hey Traci,

No, I haven’t yet!

I’ve been around a long time, hadn’t been as actively involved as I’d like to be though (learning all this blog post stuff)

I’ll get there, does he do catch ups with guides?

Hi @Stephydubs I do organise Meetups roughly quarterly mostly around photos, I’ll probably do a winter Meetup sometime in July that will revolve around food (and photos).

I live in the Dandenong Ranges and work in Frankston so if you’re ever in those areas give me a yell, I’m always happy to have a coffee with another Melbourne Local Guide if schedules can work out.

We’ve got a fairly active collection of Local Guides but no real community as such, we all hang out here on Connect mostly.

You’ll find my Insta @dropbearpaul in my signature below.

That is cool @Stephydubs I’ve not run one around the Frankston area for a couple of years so perhaps its time. There are a few LG around the coastal area reaching up into Cranbourne.
