Local Guides keeps asking me questions not relevant to a business I do business with.

I like helping out local businesses but I often get questions about that business that are unrelated to that business. Can this be fixed?

@MotorRV When you said you get questions that are unrelated to that business, what do you mean? Can you post a few examples?

The business is a bar. While they serve a small number of snacks (e.g. potato chips and peanuts), they are not a restaurant. People who want food from a restaurant have to go to a restaurant to get their food or have the restaurant deliver their food to the bar.

@MotorRV What is it currently categorized as? If it’s currently categorized as a restaurant, you can suggest an edit to change it into ā€˜Bar’ category. This also applies to other scenarios.

With that said, the team probably take a more generic approach while asking these questions, so there can be irrelevant questions being asked from time to time. You can always answer ā€˜No’ to these questions.

It is categorized as a bar but I guess there is nothing I can do about the questions. Thanks for trying to help. I’ll just ignore questions that can not be properly answered.

@MotorRV There are three answers available - Yes, No, and Not Sure. There’s also the Send Feedback button, where I often tap ā€œThe question isn’t relevant for this placeā€, or ā€œThe question isn’t appropriate for my countryā€.

It frustrates me when they keep asking if dogs are allowed in various places - we do NOT do that in this country. More recently I see questions about having a fireplace - that would NEVER be needed in our tropical climate. I’d expect the AI to know not to ask about the fireplace, even if if the dog question wasn’t quite as obvious.

@tony_b thanks for the note. It totally skipped my mind that we can send feedback and define that the question is not relevant to place/country. I’m accepting your reply as a solution so others can benefit from it.
