Local Guides Ink Memories at the Fountain Pen Fair in Pune

A few weeks ago, local guides in Pune visited a Pen Exhibition and Sale.
Many of us are fond of collecting things, especially pens.

This was hosted in the iconic One Place on FC Road in Pune.

Visiting the fountain pen exhibition felt like stepping into a living museum of writing.

Rows upon rows of gleaming nibs and elegant barrels transported me to a bygone era when computers were absent from our desks, and pens were our constant companions.

My love for writing found a mirror in that hall where every pen seemed to whisper stories of letters, journals, and ideas once etched in ink.

I remembered the ritual of refilling ink at the neighborhood pen shop, the joy of sharing pens with buddies, the thoughtfulness of gifting one, and the quiet pride of collecting them as souvenirs.

Standing amidst so many amazing fountain pens, I felt like one big eye, wide open in wonder, absorbing the artistry and nostalgia of it all.

It wasn’t just an exhibition; it was a celebration of memory, craft, and the timeless bond between writer and pen.

:wheelchair_symbol: I did an accessibility check at the washrooms and the parking.
Also got +31 valuable points for the detailed review and photos.

The staff at the exhibition was helpful.

The other attractions were a handwriting improvement workshop and a caricature booth.

The visit started with breakfast at the iconic Niranjan Restaurant.

And ended with a Chai pe Charcha at Trupti Tea House.

@AjitThite, @abhishekpatk, @ShubhamWaman, @TusharSuradkar, and @NERKARAMIT visited the pen and ink exhibition.

This post is in response to the challenges by @Rahul001

Yes, it was fun, @TusharSuradkar. It was immediately after we came back from CL 25.
I remember there was a counter of handwriting experts, and we also spent some time with them.

Cheers!

Wonderful to see this exhibition of Fountain Pens @TusharSuradkar It really is a bygone trend with very few fountain pen lovers in today’s world. Thanks for sharing

This was mainly organised by individual collectors coming together to showcase and sell their personal collection @curatorofmemory

I think Delhi has mostly institutional exhibitions - my guess.

Thank you for the appreciation, dear @Er_Sandeep_kp :+1:
It is a big encouragement.
