@DeniGu its been a lot of time since few members reported the problem of fake locations but yet spreading like anything. kindly remove fake location from maps

A great initiative @JanVanHaver I too find errors on Maps frustrating so much so that I have been editing Maps for a while now. I always report duplicates and spam. To date I have some 5,385 approved Edits.

Thank you for your post, I really like it. I also love adding new places as well as correcting and updating old places, at my local area many bars are closing due to delinquency. I have also notice that some places does not accept the changes, like some duplicates I have detected and reject to be merge. Other thing I am concerned about is that there are many pictures that, either does not belong to the place where they are added, or are selfies and group photos that does not even show the place.

Iām dissapointed when I noticed that more than 400 my photos have been deleted. To upload them takes long hours. Is it possible to learn the reason ?

What exactly do you mean with ādeletedā @worldwide ? That they are no longer visible on the places where you uploaded them? In that case, please check out this helpdesk post.

Experiencing the same issue. A few hundred photos have disappeared and lost about 1000 pointsā¦
Seems like a worldwide cleanup?!??

@JanVanHaver There were 950 photographs and 5678 points in the morning and during 3-4 hours more than 600 of my photos disappeared. When I look at Maps Google photographs , I saw at my profile, only 330 photos and I have 2539 pointsā¦ āUploadā meaning is : I have uploaded my photos from may laptop (or my telephone) to Maps Google time to time to earn points.

In that case @LG_Kees @worldwide itās probably too early to say what is going on. I will monitor the situation in the coming days to figure out what is going on.
But if it is what you suspect, a big photo clean up, there there will be lots of similar posts here soon.

Thank you very much for your problem solution & support. I noticed that my disabled (or deleted) photos (over than 600) has been reloaded. Now, I can see my 958 photos and my point has been increased to 5674. Although the problem has neen resolved but; may I learn the reason: Who deleted my photos and why?

@worldwide nobody deleted anything. Due to the special circumstances at the moment, also at Google things need to get rearranged and that has side effects like this.

Iām glad to see some corrections approved, but Iāve verified this morning my proposals :they havenāt been accepted 
Then the bialetti store in Levallois is still opened (despite the owner notification),
We can find Ā« le furet taranade Ā» rue de chabrol and at the old location rue des messageries, but now there is a new shop at this old location, same difficulty with studio 67 (two shops at the sale location)
I dont understand how these have been verified, but I dont think I will continue to try to clean the mapā¦ To declare new shops seems easier than explaining the new replaces the other.
You answered you will try to see, I havent seen your conclusion, perhaps I missed ?.

This morning, after having shared this post, I wondered about Le furet tanrade if the new location rue de chabrol was not also in conflict with another shop. Bingo, I found a restaurant who closed definitly.
Then, Iāve proposed to do the modification closed with the only specification autorized this picture
Which is the result of a request for the location of the Furet
As you can see, the result shows both the web site confirming the restaurant is definitly closed and the maps
result with the web url.
For the first time I received the answer not possible to verify the information the same day.
The shop has moved from la rue des messageries to la rue de chabrol where the restaurant is definitly closed.
Rue des Messageries there is a new shop but still le Furet
Rue de chabrol there is le Furet but also the restaurant closed.
2 locations to clean, Google Maps has the information but isnāt able to clean the map.
Is this clear ? Itās not easy for me to explain in a foreign language.
I expect a moderator will be able to understand where is the problem.
For information, Iāve verified street view : for the 2 locations the pictures are older then itās necessary to compare the pictures shared of Le Furet and of the restaurant.
Last update : despite of the answer modification not taked into account Iāve understood that the migration of comments have begun for le furet rue des messageries. My last comment to describe the new location is the only comment, all the others have moved to the new location !!! Perhaps the location will disappear to help IH studio to take the place
