Google reviews has always been my to-go place whenever I’m travelling, finding a good dining place, visiting landmarks or searching for any services or shops. With just a few taps on my phone, I am able to visit anywhere, know where and what to eat and understand what product or service a shop can offer. From the information provided by Local Guide, I’m able to learn more about a country, a city or even a small shop hidden in a corner. It’s fast, reliable and just amazing!

I started out on Local Guides as a competition with my husband while travelling around Europe while residing in the UK, and soon got addicted to it. I realised that the reason why I could gather so much information about a place so easily, was all thanks to the time and effort by fellow Local Guides. Hence, I want to be at the giving end, to share my experiences to others through my words and photos.

These email alerts from Google make my day every single time, knowing that my reviews and photos are making an impact and helping other people from all over the world, just like how others have helped me. I wouldn’t have been able to do all these on my own. This is only possible with the Google Local Guides program and the genuine efforts from every single local guide, constantly allowing everyone to connect with each other, wherever we are.
Pick me, pick me, pick me! I hope to have the opportunity to attend Live Connect 2020 with the other 199 Local Guides, to bring the learning, sharing and connection on a more physical level. Hopefully the COVID19 will be gone by then!
