What does the Local Guides program mean to you? It means a lot! This program is part of my youth work. Powerful tool to help thousands from all over the world and involve youth in this process.
My name is Viktor Panasenko and I am from Tallinn (Estonia). Perhaps I have the best job in the world. I work with youth, write scripts, stories and commercials. Almost every day I work with Lego as a robotics and LegoArt trainer. I lead media and mobile photo workshops.
How to teach a child to look at the world from a different angle?
How to teach him to help others?
How to use gadgets to good and creative way and notice the beauty of this world?
For almost two years now I have been a Local Guide. Unfortunately, not many young people know about this possibility. Dozens of hours a week, youth and kids spends playing Minecraft and Brawl Stars.
Why not turn their obsession with gadgets into a useful hobby. It all started with a mobile photography workshop. After I told the youth that almost all photos on Google Maps are added by ordinary people. And this process is an exciting game with achievements and quests.
Now we discover our city together and make it more visible on the maps.
For this we even have a drone.
On the photos our aerial photography workshop.
Thanks for reading this and good luck to all!
Viktor
