I think it’s a proud moment to be a local guide on Google.
Now the question is why and how to ?
This give lot of clarity when me or someone visit to a place which is listed on Google and people are looking for recommendation. What other people think about it and what’s their personal experience ?
I always refer this as it help me to get high level understanding before visiting any place like tourist attraction, hotel, food /recipe, etc. They also add the pictures which gives more clear details.
I do this because i want to guide them in offline way as it’s not possible to connect with someone and get more information. We can use google search to gather lot of information but this gives very specific info about things.
I put honest feedback as i don’t want to misguide anyone who follow the local guide for their daily use or commute or for any information.
I also try to add missing place or edit places which are incorrectly tagged on Local Guide to have correct details.
I really feel proud and encourage all google users to add reviews as per their convenience to make information available.
