Hello Local Guides Community,
I am an active Google Local Guide (Level 6) with 2,365+ points a strong text nd over 1,186 contributions on Google Maps. I regularly add new places, write reviews, and upload photos to help improve Maps for others.
I have seen that some Local Guides receive gifts or perks from Google as a token of appreciation. However, despite my continuous contributions, I haven’t received any email or notification regarding any rewards.
I want to know:
How can I check if I am eligible for any gifts or perks?
What steps should I take to ensure I receive my rewards?
Do I need to update my email or any settings to get notifications?

Hi @baburuidas! Unfortunately, that isn’t quite how the Local Guides program works.
Google can and will send gifts out but we don’t have insight into their process, and it doesn’t seem to follow a preset level-based system. Thank you for your efforts to participate! I hope this won’t dampen your enthusiasm for the program.
I received my first of 6 items at level 5, while I know others who haven’t received things up through level 7 or even 8. I’m sorry if this seems frustrating, but we participate for the good of our communities, to help foster community amongst other guides, and for the self-satisfaction of knowing we’ve helped our communities.
