Before each trip, I carefully read the reviews of predecessors about local cafes and restaurants. I’m looking for places the locals like to go. There is always a cozy, hospitable host, there is a good time and you can eat tasty and, as a rule, inexpensive food. Why, for example, I remember the Turkish cuisine restaurant Akin Balik in Istanbul? It is a bit away from the lush restaurants of the Galata bridge next to the pier, from which ferries go to the Asian side and transport people to and from work. While waiting for the ferry, many of these people have lunch or dinner at Akin Balik. Next to the Galatian bridge fishermen catch fish, in the restaurant it is immediately fried and served with delicious salads, which are prepared in front of you. Simple furniture, simple dishes and a warm atmosphere make the traveler’s dinner home.
