Just wanted to share a bit of a happy ending to what could’ve been a tragic and disappointing story.
For those that do not know, craft beer is a huge deal in Baltimore, Maryland. There are many locally owned small breweries that produce beers which are sold locally, regionally and nationally. One of these such breweries is Monument City Brewery. Located on 1 North Haven Street, Baltimore, MD 21224 they are a very popular brewery among locals, especially those in the Canton area of Baltimore.
Recently the brewery’s guard cat, Will (short for Willow) and now local celebrity went missing. The brewery posted on all social media platforms with a plea to for his safe return. All local new stations, small business and locals went on the search to find Will. Thousands of shares of their post and a massive search by local residents, Will was finally found! Mistaken for a stray individuals with good intentions took Will with them leaving the brewery.
Now Will is back to his role as official guard cat and the brewery celebrated with a party.
What could’ve been a disappointing story for this much loved feline turned out to show that the residents of Baltimore, MD came together to share and post information that helped find Will. Some residents even took to the local streets in an all out search. This just shows how strong the community is and how small businesses can make such an impact in peoples lives.
