In 2013 I first time arrive to Belgrade, Serbia. I came for 2 years relocation and didn’t know what to expect. I found very fast that this country combine nice people, beautiful nature and much history. Belgrade is the capital city, big and crowded with lots of great cafes and restaurant. prices is very cheap and I like it. the night life also very poplar and well know. once in a month I use to take my car and go travel in the countryside. to my opinion there you’ll find the pure magic… quiet and peaceful villages, breathtaking nature and the people so welcoming and helpful. I use to stop in some places along the rode and talk with locals, some of them even invite me to there houses and show me how they make Rakia, Serbian most poplar alcohol drink. those kind of meeting give you an amazing feeling because its real. some people from the western world can see them as poor people but I see them despite all the problems very much happy. others can have a lot and they want more… those people happy as is !
one of the places that I love to come each year its Guča Trumpet Festival, such a happy celebration that words cannot describe… so much meat and best music make you the feeling of absolutely freedom. I highly recommend to all visit this fantastic festival !
Serbia got inside my heart.
