On my last trip I was in Budapest and I stayed at the iconic “Hotel Gellért”. Its building is charming and it has a great location on the banks of the Danube River, very near to some tourist attractions such as the "Hill Gellért" where the “Statue of Liberty” and the “Citadella” are located. From there you can take stunning photos of the beautiful city.
Since you step in the prominent lobby you can feel a magical atmosphere that invites you to venture inside. The reception and all other services are kind and distinguished . The hallway to the rooms is classically and impeccable decorated and the room they gave me combined a yesteryear ambiance with the modern facilities required for a successful stay.
The Danubius Hotel Gellért offers two upscale restaurants. The Panorama Restaurant where a delicious breakfast banquet is served in a place outside of a novel and the Gellért Söröző & Brasseri , the oldest brasserie in the city where in a modern environment offers a fair menu of drinks and food.
To finish this specific publication, I must recommend, if you stay in this fabulous hotel or not, you should relax your body, mind and soul in the gorgeous Gellért Bath Spa, where you will find many swimming pools, steam baths, sauna, rest areas, showers, lockers and a restaurant. If you want to have a heavenly experience reserve for your routine the Thai massage that you dream!
