Hi @user_not_found
,
Thanks for featuring one of my favorite fruit (sharing the same passion with you, @anazizullah )! : ]
Lychee can be also found across Asia, as from my experience the South-Eastern region is also quite popular.
The taste can be described as sweet and a bit tart, reminds me of the grape, @Nyainurjanah . (you can peel it and consume the inside part)
Hello** @user_not_found
**
Thanks for sharing one of my favourite fruit: Litchi, which is quite popular in North India.
I really like to eat litchi and also the juice
Keep sharing your experience.
Yes, you’re right, dear @sonnyNg
In Bangladesh and India, there are lots of garden of Lychee/Litchi (we call it Lichu)
I’m surprised and sad to hear that it’s a rare fruit for you @Nyainurjanah
Please visit Bangladesh in May/June month. Then you would taste this wonderful tasty fruit.
Hi** @Nyainurjanah **
Litchi is a kind of fruit which is a popular fruit in north India. It has a layer (red coloured) which we have to peel off and then eat, it also have a seed (at the center). I am shocked to hear that Litchi is not available in Indonesia
You can come in India to enjoy the taste of fresh Litchi.
Thanks** @sonnyNg **for the the explanation:]
Hi @user_not_found
, @IshantHP_ig , @anazizullah ,
Thanks for providing more information!
I do really want to give a try Lychee from both Bangladesh and India, as they do tend to be taste slightly different in comparison to what I have eaten before from Viet Nam. : ]
At the moment, unfortunately, I can only find them canned in my town, as to have them fresh is a privilege for me.
is it litchi season now @user_not_found
one of my favourite fruit it is!
Hi** @sonnyNg **
Thanks for the reply
Generally Litchi comes in summer season(In May to August), so during this season you can enjoy fresh and juicy Litchi of India.
Now it’s snowfall here in my state so it’s available in this month but packaged form of Litchi juices is available but i prefer to eat fresh (by plucking from the tree) :]
As** @anazizullah **also mentioned about the popularity of Litchi in Bangladesh.
So it’s a good chance for you, Most welcome in India.
Good to know! dear @sonnyNg
Then, please make a plan to visit Bangladesh
Lithchi/Lychee/Lichu from the northern districts (specially Dinajpur, one of our local guides @RomanSyed came from there) are the most tasty. Nothing can bit the experience to eat directly from the trees
Invitation for you also dear @IshantHP_ig

Thank you @user_not_found
for this post remind me to other fav fruit
Thank you for inviting dear , seriously I can’t find this fruit at garden near me .
So I invited you all to my place and let’s pick the pineapple
@Nyainurjanah it tastes unique. Sweet and flavoured.
@sonnyNg the taste depends on the variety and stage at which fruit harvested. Canned lychees sadly don’t taste good. Look for fresh ones.
Yeah, @Nyainurjanah in appearance very similar. Rmabutan has soft projections missing in the Lychees which pimple like surface. Also Lychees have a unique flavour.
Hi @Nyainurjanah ,
The dish Asinan is in a way, pickled fruits, am I close?
It is really nice to hear that rambutan es being appreciated in Indonesia as well, as for us it is a great delicacy. : ]
By the way, do feel free to check/edit/change the photo of in the reply, as we should refrain from using materials that are with external sources. (for that it has been removed as well)
Hi @giribpai ,
That is indeed correct, fresh ones are the best! : ]
Until the opportunity to try real one arises, I may still need to stick to the alternative canned ones.
@sonnyNg thank you so much for assistance ,glad to learn here
