LISABI is one of the greatest warriors in Ogun State, Nigeria. Which happen to be my own state of origin too. The festival was held in March 2019 for days. The festive is after a warrior in the 1930’s who fought against the oyo people for the freedom of his people of egbaland. He stood to the egba peoples safety. He’s full name is LISABI AGBONGO AKALA. He is a warrior who fought assiduously for the peaceful settlement of the Egba people during the intertribal wars around the 1930. He fought with the Ijebu’s, Awori’s, oyo’s etc. I was present at the festival this month of March 2019. Its a nice event where the Governor will be present and all kings of egba land.
