On a cool nights of December, I swing by The Pallet - Brewhouse & Kitchen at Whitefield for some delicious bar snacks and cocktails with my friends.
Anis’tini
We started off with the Anistini, where Star anise-infused vodka is mixed with chilled tonic water, to line our tummy with a vodka-infused drink before making our choice at their indulgent starters options. Vodka-lovers will enjoy this sweet-and-sour cocktail that comes topped with dried Star anise.
Battered Fried Lamb Chops
We paired it with the mild spicy and flavourful signature Battered Fried Lamb Chops, super tender crisp lamb chops that’s marinated for 24 hours! Battered Fried Lamb Chops is a divine combination of crisp, well-seasoned meat and aromatic roasted spices.
Prawn Poppadums
Another excellent dish is their classic crispy Prawn Poppadums served with fresh apple slices, potato wedges and vegetables. We share the generously portioned Prawn Poppadums that is luxuriously rich, creamy and bright.
Dynamite Prawns
For something with more kick we opted for the Dynamite Prawns which are bolder in spice & flavour with juicy yet super exquisite. Snack on this delicious bar bites and make sure you dip the bhoot jalokia battered crispy Dynamite Prawns in rich creamy Sriracha mayo to get the ultimate spiciness.
Peri Peri Roasted Chicken
Then we ordered the crowd favourite Peri Peri Roasted Chicken, which was spicy, juicy and tender chicken pieces served with smooth sweet chilli mayo. Peri Peri Roasted Chicken gives us a melt-in-your-mouth moment that we won’t forget.
Loaded Baked Potatoes
We also share the Loaded Baked Potatoes that sees cottage cheese and onion bhurji infused in a rich Paprika Cheese Sauce. Definitely try this Loaded Baked Potatoes — a veggie creation of Baked Potatoes stuffed with Paprika Cheese Sauce, cottage cheese and onion bhurji that will satisfy even the most die-hard meat-lover.
Seafood Platter
Our Final order was the delectable Seafood Platter that’s balanced with fish, crab and prawns, as well as their contrasting dips. Featuring smooth and juicy Mangalorean style Prawn tawa fry and delightfully tangy and flavourful Seer fish cooked in Malwani spices and crispy chilly crab accompanied with mayo and salsa dips.
Sunburn
We wash it down with the Sunburn refreshing passion fruit drink with a twist of Chile & honey wine vinegar and a dark Finnish rum.
