Hello @NasimJ, certainly not normal. I am level 10 and do get those questions, depending on which places I actually visited or even only searched for.
Did you disable your timeline? There is also an option under settings, where can opt out to get those questions. Perhaps, this was accidentally changed?
@NasimJ the message says “Timeline isn’t available on Android Go devices.”. Does your smartphone have Android Go? I don’t know, but just guessing, if your phone doesn’t support the timeline, Google Maps cannot track your visits. Again, only guessing. Perhaps @ErmesT knows more …
Thank for the tag, @WilfriedB
I can only share with @NasimJ the complete help article: Manage your Google Maps Timeline - Android - Google Maps Help Manage your Google Maps Timeline - Android - Google Maps Help
As we don’t have any information about the account nor about the device and OS, it’s quite impossible to define the reason of the issue, but apparently it’s related to the device itself
Hello @NasimJ, did you change your phone recently? If so, was this feature working when you had a different phone? The answer to this would confirm or disprove the theory suggested by @WilfriedB
Personally, I find it very rare to get questions on that page. I checked a few days ago and found ONE question only.
I check that page daily and the number of questions varies a lot - between zero and 10 or more. Depending on how many places I did visit during recent 2 or 3 days.
Did you know, there is a new section under the “For You” tab in the Maps app. A new section shows you the list of places (actually visited or searched for) which are considered for the Q&A. For most of the places listed there, I do not get questions.
It is another question for @NasimJ, whether he sees that section of not.
Thanks for pointing out that list @WilfriedB. Just like you, I find it doesn’t seem to contribute much to the Q & A question list. There doesn’t seem to be a direct connection.
There is @tony_b. While by far not all places in the list generate a question, for all questions I get, there is an entry in the list. Furthermore, being annoyed by questions for places, I only searched, but never visited in reality, once I deleted them from the list, those questions are not coming anymore.
Thanks for the follow up @WilfriedB. Today I see three POIs listed in that page, but unfortunately the questions are irrelevant. None of [Yes - No - Not Sure] would be the correct answer.
