Let's Visit Adalaj, the 15th Century step-well

Namaste _/_ ! to all my local guides friends who are reading this post and who all are busy correcting google maps.

This is your LG from India.

Recently, I went to visit Ahmedabad, a city in the Gujarat state of India. I hope you all have heard about it.

I was very clear in my itinerary and decided to visit this place as this is very famous among local and international tourists. My plan was to visit Adalaj, a step-well made in AD1498 by Queen Ruda (Wife of Virasimha).

When I reached there, I was awestruck by the construction is done at such an early period and that monument stands still till now.

Just see the symmetry below -

The oblong step well runs from south to north and the octagonal view which you can see is five storyed. You need to get down via stairs to reach the base and there you will find water. That’s how ancient people in India used to store water.

Just see the beauty of the place

The place is always filled with people all across the world and I would like to invite you all to my country India.

Bye bye, all till we meet again on this very website.

I am your local guide Mason S.

Note: These pictures are my work, so I insist people not to sell or use these elsewhere. If you need them, just let me know.
