Let's Celebrate Nature Together: Noida Chrysanthemum Flower Show 2024

An enchanting world of vibrant Chrysanthemum Flower Show 2024 was organized by Noida Authority at Helipad Ground, Shivalik park, Sector-33A, Noida. Initially it was planned for two days (14th and 15th December, 2024) but on a popular demand it was extended till December 16. And, that’s how I got an opportunity (as I generally prefer weekdays to avoid rush) to capture and cherish such a wonderful moment.

I love to extend my moments by taking you all through its glimpses. Let’s step into a world of vibrant floral wonder through the astonishing artistry and mesmerizing macros as seen through my lenses.

The nature’s artistry is at the extreme when we look at this breathtaking collection of Chrysanthemums in the form of Peacock, Butterfly and Satellite.

Worth mentioning here that these spots were most demanded spots for taking selfies, making reels and videos.

Let us witness some breathtaking macros of Chrysanthemums in full bloom. These vibrant colours of flowers are unbeatable. This is what nature has gifted us. We are so grateful to nature!

The show featured some contests as well where the participants presented their gardening skills. Based on the defined criteria, the jury selected some of the best in different categories of flowers and winners were given away the prizes. Here are a few for example:

So, if you feel hungry while taking a long walk to the beautiful flower show, let’s have some crunchy roasted papad with kulhad tea (कुल्हड़ वाली चाय)- my favourite😊. There were a variety of food stalls in one corner of the ground offering a range of dishes.

It was a well-organized flower show where unique plants were presented and also were available for sale. Amongst the available flowers, Tulips, Daffodils, Hyacinths and Irises were the main constituents of the range.

A couple of stalls were there for buying tools, fertilizers, Pesticides for flowers and other gardening essentials.

Now, since you have read through and have come to the end of this post, I have some quiz for you. These photos were also shot at the Flower show. You just have to write down the name of each creature in the photo with the name of the material/object used to make these creatures, in the comment box. Though there are no prizes for the correct answer but it will be a fun trying this out.

All collages of this post are created using the feature of New Connect. Wonder how to make it! Please refer here. It is explained beautifully.

Thank you @Rahul001 for your compliments. Chrysanthemum in your garden looks great.

Did you try the quiz?

What a beautiful fair, @Kumaarsantosh .
Do Chrysanthemums have a special meaning in India?
In my country they are used at the beginning of November to celebrate deceased relatives. The graves in cemeteries are all adorned with Chrysanthemums.

In Japan, on the contrary, the chrysanthemum is the national flower and represents immortality.

The way those creatures were made is unbelievable. Mostly they are made using the waste materials.

I consider this community as a Learning Platform for everyone. Everyday we keep on learning (directly / indirectly) from each other selflessly. And, that’s the real beauty we all carry and will be there with us forever.

Really loved yours and @TusharSuradkar approach to get to the quiz’s answer. Will discuss more about that in a separate comment once some of our other friends also share their views.
